Text, Photography and Narrative, Pompey Darkroom

Join photographer and Pompey Darkroom member, Tiago Valeiro, for ‘Text, Photography, and Narrative’ as part of Pompey Darkroom’s residency in the Artist Studio, responding to Lauren Joy Kennett’s main gallery exhibition ‘Sorry I’m Not Sorry’ . This drop-in session offers participants the opportunity to explore the relationship between photography and writing, developing new potential threads to explore in creative practice.

Discover how text can deconstruct and reconstruct meaning, forming new and compelling narratives within your images. Enjoy an afternoon of experimentation, exploring the dynamic interaction between text and images with access to a range of materials, printers, and projectors.

Participants are welcome to bring their own photographs or books for printing and scanning, although all necessary materials will be provided in the studio.
