Aspex Portsmouth

Photobook Night

Join Pompey Darkroom for the first Photobook Night of 2026.

Taking inspiration from Aspex Portsmouth’s current exhibition Plural Kinships, this relaxed and social evening brings together book sharing and conversation. It’s open to anyone with an interest in photography, photobooks, or expanding their creative network.

You’ll have the chance to look through and be inspired by a curated selection of photobooks linked to the exhibition’s themes of connection, heritage, identity, and belonging. Featured titles include Delegation by Wendy Red Star, Our Hidden Room by Mohamed Hassan, HardTack by Rahim Fortune, Flowers Drink the River by Pia-Paulina Guilmoth, and Lost Coast by Curran Hatleberg.

Come along, explore new books, exchange ideas, and connect.

How to book
