Family Saturdays

Join us at our weekly arts and crafts workshop for all the family to enjoy!

At Family Saturdays, participants can take part in fun exploratory creative activities inspired by our current exhibitions and projects.

From painting to model making, collaging and inventing, budding young artists can learn new artistic techniques in a supportive and nurturing creative space with other young children and families. These relaxed sessions are designed to suit all ages and abilities, and all materials are provided.

Family Saturdays takes place in the Learning Space every Saturday from 11am – 1pm. No booking is required and you can drop in and out of the session.

Please note, there is a total capacity of 30 people at any one time. All are welcome to wait in our cafe or explore our exhibitions if a queue develops.

The suggested donation for Family Saturdays is £3 per participant. You can make a donation at the venue or by donating online here. All donations will help us continue to deliver access to art.

Accessibility

Family Saturdays takes place in the Learning Space on the ground floor and has step free access. The session may become noisy at times due to the nature of the workshops. For those with noise sensitivity, you are welcome to bring along your own ear protectors or ear plugs. More information about accessibility at Aspex can be found on our website here
