Arts Award 2024
Arts Award 2024 showcases the creativity of young artists from Aspex’s Home-Ed Arts Club. This initiative provides home-educated children the opportunity to create and develop their artistic skills with support from the Aspex creative engagement team on a regular basis.
Throughout this year, the group has grown into a strong artistic community, working towards the nationally recognised Arts Award qualification. Their exhibited works highlight their dedication, imagination, and growth, reflected through a diverse collection of materials, techniques and subject matters.
Each piece has been thoughtfully crafted using materials and methods that resonate with the young artists, highlighting their unique perspectives while celebrating their collective enthusiasm for artistic expression. This exhibition invites you to experience their creativity and be inspired to explore your own artistic journey.
The artists say:
‘We all wanted to create our final pieces using different materials that we love to make art with. Over the past year, we’ve been learning about local artists, and different art techniques and sharing our ideas with each other. We are all such different and unique people but we’ve come together with one thing in common: our passion for art. We hope you love this exhibition and each piece shows you how much we enjoy what we do and hopefully they will inspire you to create something as well.’
