Bread Addiction comes to Aspex

As of 25 October 2017 Southsea artisanal bakery Bread Addiction will be operating the cafe at Aspex.

Bread Addiction opened it’s doors three years ago, founded by couple Nikola Ondrouskova and Ladislav Adamek.

Their aim is to produce memorable and tasty experiences for visitors. Every cake, tart and pastry is handmade in their bakery, located on Elm Grove, using only the finest seasonal produce.

With this additional site in Gunwharf Quays, Bread Addiction plan to bring the bakery experience to Aspex. Every day they will provide freshly baked pastries, sandwiches and salads for breakfast and lunch, on top of coffee from independent roasters Square Mile and a selection of tea from Bluebird Tea Company in Brighton.

They also plan to offer Afternoon Tea as well as hand-selected wine served with antipasti plates.

Our Director Aspex Joanne Bushnell, said:

“We are delighted to welcome Bread Addiction to Aspex. Whilst engaging with our programme of contemporary visual art, visitors to the gallery can now enjoy beautifully crafted treats - provided by an award-winning independent business”.

Founders of Bread Addiction, Nikola and Ladislav, said:

“This is an amazing opportunity for Bread Addiction to extend our bakery space and invite more people to enjoy what we do”.

You can visit the gallery Wednesday - Sunday, 11.00 - 16.00hrs to experience Bread Addiction at Aspex.
