Artist Talk: Aspex - The First 35 Years

Artist Talk: Aspex - The First 35 Years

16 Mar

Join us on Thursday 16 March (6 - 8pm) for a seminar from our Director, Joanne Bushnell.

Bushnell will be discussing the gallery's recent history of exhibitions and artist support, since taking the title of Director in 1999.

This event is in conjunction with '35 & Counting', an exhibition and auction celebrating Aspex's 35 year legacy of supporting emerging artists. All artworks involved have generously been donated by the artists.

This talk is part of #ThirdThursdays. Tickets are just £3.00 per person and are available via our Eventbrite page (click here).

What is #ThirdThursdays?

On the third Thursday of every month the gallery will be open until 8pm!

These extended opening hours will give visitors the opportunity to browse our bespoke craft shop, containing unique cards, jewellery, prints and gifts from local artists and makers!

On top of this, a range of artist's talks and after-school activities will be available. Our three gallery spaces will be open to the public, continuing to provide international and local contemporary art to the residents and visitors to Portsmouth.

Our regular hours are Wednesday – Sunday, 11am – 4pm. For information on our events, exhibitions and workshops, please visit the What’s On section of our website!
