Bennett is co-founder of The Women’s Art Activation System (WAAS) collective and the ongoing participatory art project Croshare.
> Dan McDermott
Dan McDermott has a background in painting. His dynamic photo-realist canvases capture our perceptions of the fast moving world around us. McDermott derives his material from found film, television and archive footage. The works express the pace and tension of contemporary life and while they have a strong feeling of time and place; the exact origins of the imagery remain intentionally illusive.
As well as being an experienced arts educator, McDermott has exhibited extensively throughout the UK, Europe, and the USA over the past 25 years. His work can be found in corporate and private collections worldwide.
